55 514 are made to fit the 55 hammer mills; 45"long with 5 1/4" cells for product sizing. all cells are closed to better handle the harsh environment of a hammer mill. made from top of the line AR steels plus a hard surface weld placed at the inlet of the mid cells for a longer lasting grate. all our grates are made out of single parts not doubles that let wood wedge out the steel further adding to the failure of the grate.

55 514H Grate(Helper)
55 514 are made to fit the 55 hammer mills; the Helper Grate are 45 1/4" long to take up gap in older hammer mills or like most hard worked with very little down time and not yet time for new Armor or over hauling.
NOTE: the end caps can be widened and end caps can be Heighten to take up gaps in the Armor/walls but the mid sections have to stay at the 1/2" gap setting under the hammers.
